The DeerRun A6 Plus is a walking/running crossover rather than a simple low-speed walking pad. With the handrail down, DeerRun lists walking speeds of about 0.6–3.7 mph; with the handrail raised, the top speed increases to about 7.5 mph. It adds a 5% manual incline and a 300 lb maximum user weight.
This is a research-based review built from DeerRun's published specifications and manufacturer information. We have not physically tested the A6 Plus.
Quick Verdict
On DeerRun's published figures, the A6 Plus is for someone weighing a walking pad against a more treadmill-like machine: it walks with the handrail down and reaches about 7.5 mph with the handrail raised. It also lists a 5% manual incline, a 41.34 × 14.96 in walking/running area and a 300 lb maximum user weight.
The trade-offs: DeerRun's US and UK pages publish different machine weights and overall dimensions, the incline is manual with the number of positions not listed, and horsepower isn't published. The handrail folds down, but DeerRun doesn't describe the walking deck folding.
- Speed: about 0.6–3.7 mph handrail down · up to about 7.5 mph handrail raised
- Incline: 5% manual
- Walking/running area: approx. 41.34 × 14.96 in
- Max user weight: 300 lb · Machine weight: 54.54 lb / 63.8 lb (regional listings differ)

Note: DeerRun's regional listings publish different overall dimensions and machine weights for the A6 Plus. The US page lists 54.54 lb and 53.27 × 21.77 × 45.79 in; DeerRun UK lists 28.94 kg (about 63.8 lb), a handrail-up size of about 49.4 × 21.8 × 45.8 in and a folded size of about 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in. We show each figure with its source rather than choosing one. "Not listed" means it isn't in the information we used.
Important Note About Conflicting DeerRun Specifications
DeerRun's regional pages publish conflicting machine-weight figures. The US page lists 54.54 lb, while DeerRun UK lists 28.94 kg (about 63.8 lb). We show both rather than choosing one.
The dimensions don't line up cleanly either. The US listing gives 53.27 × 21.77 × 45.79 in. DeerRun UK gives 125.45 × 55.3 × 116.3 cm with the handrail up (about 49.4 × 21.8 × 45.8 in) and 135.3 × 55.3 × 12.4 cm folded (about 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in). The width and handrail-up height roughly match, but the US length is close to the UK folded length, not the UK handrail-up length, and DeerRun doesn't explain the difference.
Because of this, we don't use these measurements to rank the A6 Plus as smaller, shorter, more compact or lighter than other machines. If a measurement matters for your space, check it with DeerRun before buying.

What Is the DeerRun A6 Plus?
DeerRun describes the A6 Plus as a 2-in-1 foldable walking/running treadmill with a handrail. Most machines on Walking Counts are low-speed walking pads; the A6 Plus is different because raising the handrail unlocks a faster top speed. That makes it relevant if you're deciding between a walking pad and something closer to a conventional treadmill. It isn't automatically better than a normal walking pad — it's a different format.
Speed and the Two Configurations
- Handrail down: 1–6 km/h, approximately 0.6–3.7 mph — a walking configuration.
- Handrail raised: top speed of 12 km/h, approximately 7.5 mph. DeerRun's US page markets the top speed as 7.5 mph.
DeerRun's remote is described as controlling speed. See our walking pad vs treadmill comparison for how the two formats differ more generally.
5% Manual Incline
DeerRun lists a 5% manual incline. It isn't automatic, and DeerRun doesn't describe the remote or PitPat app as controlling it. The number of incline positions isn't listed in the information we used. Compare other options in our best walking pads with incline guide.
Walking/Running Area
DeerRun lists a 105 × 38 cm walking/running area, approximately 41.34 × 14.96 in. DeerRun publishes no height or stride guidance, so we don't say who it fits.
Handrail and Folding Design
DeerRun describes the A6 Plus as foldable, and says the handrail folds down. That is a different kind of "foldable" from a machine whose walking deck folds in half.
- Handrail/frame folds down: the upright part lowers onto the deck, so the machine becomes low and flat, but its length stays about the same.
- Deck folds in half: the walking surface itself folds, shortening the machine — as DeerRun describes for the Z20.
DeerRun doesn't say the A6 Plus deck folds, so we don't describe it as a folding-deck design. We also don't make balance, injury-prevention or safety claims about the handrail. See our walking pads with handles guide.
Folded Size and Storage
DeerRun UK lists the folded size as 135.3 × 55.3 × 12.4 cm, about 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in, so the folded height is about 4.9 in. DeerRun doesn't publish upright-storage or under-furniture guidance in the information we used, so we don't make storage claims beyond that. Compare formats in our best foldable walking pads guide.
Machine Weight Discrepancy
DeerRun's regional pages publish conflicting machine-weight figures. The US page lists 54.54 lb, while DeerRun UK lists 28.94 kg (about 63.8 lb). We show both rather than choosing one.
Either way, plan for a machine that is substantial to move, even with built-in wheels.
300 lb Maximum User Weight
DeerRun lists a 300 lb (136 kg) maximum user weight. Compare more in our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity.
Display and Controls
DeerRun includes a remote and describes it as controlling speed; it isn't described as controlling incline. DeerRun UK describes a touchscreen display. DeerRun doesn't detail what the touchscreen controls, so we don't describe its functions.
PitPat App
The A6 Plus is PitPat compatible. PitPat offers workout tracking, guided courses, virtual runs, challenges and races. Any further promotional features are DeerRun's and PitPat's claims; we haven't tested PitPat with the A6 Plus or evaluated those features.
Noise Claim
DeerRun lists the A6 Plus at ≤45 dB. We haven't independently sound-tested the machine, and DeerRun's published figure should not be used on its own to conclude that the A6 Plus is quieter than walking pads tested under different or undisclosed conditions. See how we handle makers' noise figures in our quiet walking pads guide.
Transport and Wheels
DeerRun confirms built-in wheels for moving the A6 Plus.
Assembly
DeerRun UK says no assembly is required.
Safety Information DeerRun Publishes — and What It Doesn't
DeerRun lists a Safety Lock in the US box contents. We describe it only as an included item; we don't infer emergency-stop behaviour or other safety functions from it.
- Emergency-stop behaviour: not listed
- Auto-stop: not listed
- User-height guidance: not listed
- Power/electrical requirements: not listed
- Motor horsepower: not listed
- Number of incline positions: not listed
A6 Plus for Walking
With the handrail down, DeerRun lists about 0.6–3.7 mph, with a 5% manual incline available. DeerRun's information we used doesn't establish under-desk use, so we don't say it fits under a standing desk. If that's your plan, see our best under-desk walking pads.
A6 Plus for Faster Treadmill Use
With the handrail raised, DeerRun lists a top speed of about 7.5 mph. That is the main difference from the 3.8 mph walking pads on our site. DeerRun doesn't publish horsepower, so we can't comment on how the motor handles sustained faster use.
How It Differs From a Conventional Walking Pad
- A higher top speed with the handrail raised (about 7.5 mph vs 3.8 mph on many DeerRun walking pads)
- A handrail that folds down, rather than no handrail
- A 5% manual incline
None of this makes it better than a normal walking pad; it suits a different use. See our best walking pads roundup for conventional options.

| App | PitPat | PitPat |
“(see notes)” on the DeerRun Z10 Pro: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area and 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in and 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.
Both list up to 7.5 mph with the handrail up. The Z10 Pro lists 12% automatic incline and folding/rotating handrails; the A6 Plus lists 5% manual incline and a handrail that folds down. Both have conflicting published figures: DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current. For the A6 Plus, DeerRun's US and UK pages differ. We therefore don't compare their weights or sizes as settled. Read our DeerRun Z10 Pro review.
A6 Plus vs Z20
| A6 Plus | Z20 | |
|---|---|---|
| What folds | Handrail folds down | The belt folds (suitcase-style) |
| Folded size | Approx. 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in (UK) | 30.83 × 20.71 × 7.01 in |

| Incline | 5% manual | Not listed |
| Walking area | 41.34 × 14.96 in | 37.4 × 15.75 in (UK listing) |
| Machine weight | 54.54 lb / 63.8 lb (regional listings differ) | 58.64 lb |
| Maximum user weight | 300 lb | 300 lb |
These fold in different ways. On the Z20, DeerRun describes the belt itself folding into a suitcase-style shape, with vertical storage described. On the A6 Plus, the handrail folds down and the deck isn't described as folding. The Z20 is a 3.8 mph walking pad; the A6 Plus adds the faster mode and incline. Read our DeerRun Z20 review.
