The DeerRun Q2 Urban Plus is the long-belt version of DeerRun's Q2 walking pad. DeerRun lists a 39.37 × 14.96 in walking area, 7% manual incline, 0.6–3.8 mph and a 300 lb maximum user weight, with remote or PitPat app control and no handrail.
Walking Counts evaluated it using DeerRun's current published specifications (checked 2 October 2026). This is a research-based review; we have not physically tested the Q2 Urban Plus.
Quick Verdict
The Q2 Urban Plus is the Q2 to look at if you want more walking room. DeerRun lists its walking area as 3.94 in longer than the standard Q2 Urban's, at the same width, while the speed, incline, user limit, controls and display are listed the same.
The trade-offs are a longer, heavier machine (44.98 in and 39.24 lb), walking speeds only, and a manual incline whose positions and adjustment method DeerRun doesn't describe.

- Speed: 0.6–3.8 mph · Incline: 7% manual

Walking Area: The Main Difference
DeerRun lists the Q2 Urban Plus walking area as 39.37 × 14.96 in, both in its spec table and in the "Which Q2 is right for you?" chart on the same page. The same chart lists 35.43 × 14.96 in for the standard Q2 Urban and the handrail version. So the Plus's published walking surface is 3.94 in longer, at the same width.
DeerRun doesn't publish height or stride guidance, so we don't say who it fits. Compare the belt length with how you walk.
7% Manual Incline
DeerRun describes the Plus as having a "7% manual incline" in its features list, description and spec table. It doesn't publish how many incline positions there are, exactly how you adjust it, whether you need to set it before walking, or whether it can be changed while the belt is moving.
DeerRun says you can "adjust speed using your phone or Bluetooth remote". It doesn't say the remote or app controls incline, so we don't claim they do. DeerRun's handrail Q2 listing says to set the incline before starting, but the Plus page doesn't say that, so we don't apply it here.
7% is a grade, not 7 degrees. If you want powered incline, the Z10 and Z10 Pro list 12% automatic incline. See more in our best walking pads with incline.
Speed Range
DeerRun lists 0.6–3.8 mph. Parts of DeerRun's page talk about "incline walking or running" and recreating "real-world running conditions", but with a 3.8 mph top speed we treat it as a walking machine.
Size and Machine Weight
DeerRun lists the Plus at 44.98 × 19.69 × 3.94 in and 39.24 lb. That's 2.36 in longer and about 4.2 lb heavier than the standard Q2 Urban (35.05 lb in DeerRun's current spec table; another section of the same page lists 35 lb.). We found no conflicting weight on the Plus page itself. The hidden product data behind DeerRun's shop gives about 44 lb, the same value it uses across other Q2 listings, so we don't treat it as a real figure.
For small rooms, see our best walking pads for small spaces.
300 lb Weight Limit
DeerRun lists a 300 lb maximum user weight, the same as the other Q2 models, the Z10 and the Z10 Pro. Compare more options in our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity.
Remote, Bluetooth and Display
The Plus comes with a remote and connects over Bluetooth to the PitPat app. DeerRun describes both as ways to control speed. The LED display shows speed, time, distance and calories.
PitPat App
DeerRun lists PitPat for control, workout tracking and syncing with Apple Health and other apps, with "free membership included".
DeerRun's page also advertises AI training plans, live virtual racing, 3D courses, community challenges with "cash/points" rewards and "Anti-Cheat Tech". These are DeerRun's and PitPat's marketing claims; we haven't evaluated them.
Moving and Storage
DeerRun says the slim design "slides easily under sofas, beds, or into closets", and that built-in wheels let you move it. DeerRun doesn't describe any part of the Plus folding, so we don't call it foldable. It doesn't say whether it can be stored upright, so we don't recommend that.
Assembly and What's in the Box
DeerRun says no assembly is required. It lists the main unit, a 5.9 ft power cord, a remote, a "Refueling Bottle", an L-type hex socket, a screwdriver, the manual and a quick guide card. The box is listed as 47.05 × 21.85 × 5.12 in.
Safety and Maintenance
- Safety key: not listed
- Emergency stop or auto-stop: not listed
- Belt adjustment and lubrication schedule: not listed (DeerRun's FAQ says to follow the manual)
- Floor or carpet guidance: not listed
- User height guidance: not listed
- Power requirements: not listed
DeerRun's FAQ says to build up time and pace gradually and to stop and contact support if you notice unusual noise or belt movement.
Noise Claim
DeerRun lists the motor as "Brushless Motor, Low Noise <45 db". It doesn't say what the figure measures, and publishes no speed, user weight, distance, floor or equipment. The same wording appears on the standard and handrail Q2 pages. The page also calls it "whisper-quiet" and says the motor "runs silently". We treat all of this as DeerRun's claim, and don't compare the figure with other brands. See best quiet walking pads for how makers' noise claims compare.
DeerRun Claims We Don't Repeat as Fact
DeerRun's page says the incline brings "higher burn", that a five-layer belt is "knee-friendly", that the machine blends "productivity and wellness", that its products are "tested to industry-leading standards" and that the Q2 "operates safely without a handrail". We haven't verified any of these.

The differences DeerRun supports are length, walking area and weight: the Plus has a 3.94 in longer walking area, is 2.36 in longer overall and weighs 39.24 lb against 35.05 lb in the Q2 Urban's spec table (35 lb elsewhere on its page). Everything else DeerRun lists is the same. Read our DeerRun Q2 Urban review. Source: DeerRun Q2 Urban.
Q2 Urban Plus vs Q2 Urban With Handrail
| Q2 Urban Plus | Q2 Urban With Handrail | |
|---|---|---|
| Handrail | None | Full-length, detachable; DeerRun does not state that it folds |

| Maximum user weight | 300 lb | 300 lb |
DeerRun doesn't currently list a Q2 Urban Plus with a handrail. Its handrail version uses the shorter 35.43 × 14.96 in walking area. The Plus page's FAQ mentions an optional handrail for "the DeerRun Q2", but it doesn't clearly say it fits the Plus, so we don't assume it does.
DeerRun's FAQ for the handrail version says: “Set the incline before starting your workout, then use the remote or app to control speed.” That instruction appears only on the handrail listing.
35.05 lb in DeerRun's current spec table for the handrail version; another section of the same page lists 35 lb. Both figures match the standard Q2 Urban, and DeerRun doesn't say whether they include the handrail.

| App | PitPat | PitPat |
“(see notes)” on the DeerRun Z10 Pro: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area and 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in and 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.
The Z10 Pro adds a folding handrail, 12% automatic incline and a 7.5 mph mode with the handrail raised. The Plus is lower, lighter, has no handrail and stays at walking speeds. DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current. Because of the conflict we don't say which machine has the longer walking area. Source: DeerRun Z10 Pro. Read our DeerRun Z10 Pro review.
