The DeerRun Q2 Urban With Handrail is the standard Q2 Urban walking pad with a full-length, detachable handrail. DeerRun lists 0.6–3.8 mph, a 7% manual incline, a 35.43 × 14.96 in walking area and a 300 lb maximum user weight, with remote or PitPat app control.
This is a research-based review built from DeerRun's published specifications. We have not physically tested it.
Quick Verdict
This version is primarily differentiated by added hand support. DeerRun lists the same speed, incline, walking area, overall size, user limit and machine weight as the standard Q2 Urban; the documented difference is the full-length detachable handrail.
If you specifically want a handrail, this is the Q2 configuration that has one. If under-desk use is your priority, compare it with the standard Q2 Urban. The trade-offs are walking speeds only, a manual incline set before you start, and no published safety or power details.

The Full-Length Detachable Handrail
DeerRun describes the handrail as full-length and detachable. It doesn't call it foldable, so we don't. The handrail is the main documented difference from the standard Q2 Urban. We make no claims about balance, fall prevention or safety benefits. Compare other options in our walking pads with handles guide.
7% Manual Incline
DeerRun lists a 7% manual incline and says to set the incline before starting your workout, then use the remote or app to control speed. It doesn't publish the number of incline levels. For powered incline, see the DeerRun Z10 or our best walking pads with incline.
Speed and Walking Area
DeerRun lists 0.6–3.8 mph, so we treat it as a walking machine. The walking area is 35.43 × 14.96 in, the same as the standard Q2 Urban. DeerRun publishes no user-height guidance, so we don't say who it fits.
Size, Weight and 300 lb Limit
DeerRun lists 42.62 × 19.69 × 3.94 in. DeerRun's specification table lists 35.05 lb, while another section of the same page rounds the figure to 35 lb. DeerRun does not clearly state whether this listed weight includes the detachable handrail.
DeerRun lists a 300 lb maximum user weight. See our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity.
Remote, PitPat App and Display
It comes with a remote and connects over Bluetooth to the PitPat app for control and workout tracking. The LED display shows speed, time, distance and calories.
DeerRun also advertises PitPat AI training, virtual racing, 3D environments, social challenges, cash/points rewards and "Anti-Cheat" features. These are DeerRun's and PitPat's marketing claims; we haven't evaluated them.
Noise Claim
DeerRun lists "Low Noise <45 dB" as a manufacturer claim. It does not publish the testing conditions, so we don't use the figure to rank this model against other walking pads. See our quiet walking pads guide for how we treat noise claims.
Storage and Moving
It has built-in wheels. The handrail is detachable, but DeerRun doesn't call it foldable and doesn't publish upright storage. We don't claim it stores under a bed or sofa in this handrail configuration.
Safety, Assembly and What's Not Published
DeerRun says no assembly is required and it's ready to use out of the box.
- Safety key, emergency stop, auto-stop: not listed
- Power requirements: not listed
- User-height guidance: not listed
- Incline levels: not listed
- Motor horsepower: not listed
DeerRun Claims We Don't Repeat as Fact
We don't present DeerRun's claims about calorie or fat burning, cardiovascular health, knee protection, quietness, productivity or wellness, testing standards, or safety with or without a handrail as established facts. We haven't verified them.

“(see notes)” on the DeerRun Z10 Pro: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area and 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in and 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.
Both have handrails: the Z10 Pro's fold and rotate, while this Q2's is detachable. The Z10 Pro adds 12% automatic incline and a faster mode with the handrail up. DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current.
