DeerRun Apex Flow 1 Review

Last updated: October 2026

The DeerRun Apex Flow 1 is a full-size home treadmill, not an under-desk walking pad. DeerRun lists a 0.6–10 mph speed range, a 0–15% automatic incline, a 400 lb maximum user weight and a handrail that folds down.

This is a research-based review built from DeerRun's published specifications. We have not physically tested the Apex Flow 1.

Full-Size Treadmill

Quick Verdict

On DeerRun's published figures, the Apex Flow 1 combines a 0–15% automatic incline, a 10 mph top speed and a published maximum user weight of 400 lb. The handrail folds down, and it works with the PitPat app.

The gaps are significant: DeerRun doesn't publish the running-area dimensions, machine weight, motor horsepower or type, or the number of incline levels. If any of those matter to you, check with DeerRun before buying.

What Is the DeerRun Apex Flow 1?

DeerRun sells the Apex Flow 1 as a "Foldable Auto Incline Treadmill". It's a full-size home treadmill rather than the low-profile walking pads most of Walking Counts covers. See DeerRun's range on our DeerRun models page, and our walking pad vs treadmill comparison for how the two formats differ.

0–15% Automatic Incline

DeerRun lists a 0–15% automatic incline. It doesn't publish how many incline levels there are, so we list that as "Not listed". Browse more options in our best walking pads with incline guide.

Speed: 0.6–10 MPH

DeerRun lists a 0.6–10 mph speed range — walking, jogging and running speeds, well beyond the roughly 3.8–4 mph top speed of most walking pads on this site.

400 lb Maximum User Weight

DeerRun lists a 400 lb maximum user weight. For walking pads with high listed limits, see our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity guide.

Running Area — Not Published

DeerRun doesn't list the running-area dimensions in the information we used. We don't estimate them from the overall size or from other DeerRun treadmills, and DeerRun publishes no user-height guidance.

Overall Size

DeerRun lists extended dimensions of 60.39 × 31.34 × 42.60 in. Measure the space you plan to use, including room around the machine, before buying.

Folding Design

Foldable; the handrail folds down. DeerRun does not describe the running deck itself as folding in half. We don't call it a folding-deck treadmill. See our best foldable walking pads guide for how other folding designs compare.

Folded Dimensions and Storage

DeerRun lists folded dimensions of 60.39 × 31.34 × 8.58 in. Folding brings the height down from 42.60 in to 8.58 in; the length and width stay the same. DeerRun's promotional wording mentions "15% Standing storage", but 15% is the incline figure, not a storage specification, so we don't rely on it. We don't claim it fits under a bed or sofa.

Machine Weight — Not Published

DeerRun doesn't list the Apex Flow 1's machine weight in the information we used. We don't estimate it. If weight matters for moving or storing it, check with DeerRun before buying.

Motor — Horsepower and Type Not Published

Motor horsepower and motor type aren't listed in the information we used. We don't infer them from other DeerRun models.

Controls

The information we used doesn't describe a remote control or the console controls, so we list both as "Not listed". DeerRun does list PitPat app compatibility and includes a phone/tablet stand.

PitPat App

DeerRun confirms PitPat compatibility. DeerRun promotes PitPat features including workout tracking, smart device syncing, AI training, virtual racing, 3D environments, leaderboards, health-app syncing, rewards and anti-cheat features. These are DeerRun's and PitPat's promotional claims, not independently established product specifications, and Walking Counts hasn't tested them.

Display — Information Not Published

The information we used doesn't describe the display, so we don't list what it shows or what type it is.

Noise Claims

DeerRun describes the Apex Flow 1 as having a "Quiet Motor Design," but doesn't publish a decibel figure or test conditions. We can't say how loud it will be in your home.

Safety Lock

DeerRun includes a Safety Lock. The information we used doesn't describe any other safety features, so we don't add details beyond that.

What's Included

DeerRun lists these box contents:

  • Main treadmill
  • Phone/tablet stand
  • Safety Lock
  • 5.9 ft power cord
  • Lubricating oil
  • L-type 6 mm hex socket
  • Two cylindrical bolts
  • Manual
  • Quick & Easy Guide card

Different product styles: the Apex Flow 1 is a full-size treadmill, the Z10 Pro a more compact walk/run design with a lower 300 lb limit. Read our DeerRun Z10 Pro review.

“(see notes)” on the DeerRun Z10 Pro: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area and 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in and 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.

DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current.

DeerRun's regional pages publish conflicting A6 Plus figures: the US page lists 54.54 lb and 53.27 × 21.77 × 45.79 in, while DeerRun UK lists 28.94 kg (about 63.8 lb), a handrail-up size of about 49.4 × 21.8 × 45.8 in and a folded size of about 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in. We show both rather than choosing one.

  • Anyone who wants a published remote: a remote isn't listed.

DeerRun Claims We Don't Repeat as Established Facts

DeerRun's and PitPat's marketing includes claims we don't present as fact: reduced joint strain or injury risk, superior joint comfort, apartment-friendly operation, AI-driven training effectiveness, increased fat or calorie burning, and other health outcomes.
