The DeerRun Q2 Urban is a compact walking pad with 7% incline, a 0.6–3.8 mph speed range, a 300 lb maximum user weight and remote or PitPat app control. This review covers the standard Q2 Urban, without a handrail. DeerRun also sells a Q2 Urban With Handrail and a Q2 Urban Plus as separate listings; we compare them below rather than mixing their specifications.
Walking Counts evaluated it using DeerRun's current published specifications. This is a research-based review; we have not physically tested the Q2 Urban.
Quick Verdict
The Q2 Urban is one of DeerRun's simplest walking pads: low (3.94 in), light (35.05 lb in DeerRun's spec table), walking speeds only, with 7% incline and a 300 lb limit. It suits someone who wants a basic pad with some incline and doesn't need a handle, running speeds or powered incline.
The main limits are its 35.43 in walking area, the shortest in DeerRun's Q2 family, and a manual 7% incline whose positions and adjustment method DeerRun doesn't describe on this listing.

7% Incline
DeerRun's current spec table lists "7% Manual" for the Q2 Urban. The standard listing doesn't say how many incline positions there are, exactly how you change it, or whether you can change it while walking. The handrail version's FAQ says to set the incline before starting, but the standard listing doesn't say that, so we don't apply it here.
7% is a grade (7 units of rise per 100 of distance), not 7 degrees. If you want powered incline you can change mid-walk, the Z10 and Z10 Pro list 12% automatic incline. See more options in our best walking pads with incline.
Speed Range
DeerRun lists 0.6–3.8 mph. That covers slow desk walking through brisk walking, but it isn't a running treadmill. If you want to jog, the Z10 Pro lists up to 7.5 mph with its handrail raised.
Walking Area
The walking area is 35.43 × 14.96 in. That's 3.94 in shorter than the Q2 Urban Plus (39.37 × 14.96 in) at the same width. Compare belt length and width with how you walk; we don't give height-based sizing rules because DeerRun doesn't publish any.
Size and Machine Weight
DeerRun lists the Q2 Urban at 42.62 × 19.69 × 3.94 in. For weight, DeerRun's current spec table says 35.05 lb, while another section of the same page says 35 lb. It's a small discrepancy, so we show both rather than choosing one.
For small rooms, see our best walking pads for small spaces.
300 lb Weight Limit
DeerRun lists a 300 lb maximum user weight, the same as the Handrail version, the Plus, the Z10 and the Z10 Pro. Compare other options in our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity.
Remote and Controls
The Q2 Urban comes with a remote control and also connects over Bluetooth to the PitPat app. DeerRun doesn't list buttons on the machine itself, and it doesn't list a safety key or emergency stop on this listing.
PitPat App
DeerRun lists the PitPat app as a way to control the Q2 Urban and track walks. DeerRun's page also advertises PitPat reward and "Anti-Cheat" features; those are DeerRun's and PitPat's marketing claims, and we haven't evaluated them. The pad works with the remote alone.
LED Display
DeerRun lists an LED display that shows speed, time, distance and calories.
Moving and Storage
DeerRun lists built-in wheels for moving it and says the slim design slides under sofas, beds or into closets. DeerRun doesn't describe any part of the deck folding, and it doesn't say whether it can be stored upright.
Assembly
DeerRun says no assembly is required. In the box: main unit, 5.9 ft power cord, remote, lubricant, L-type hex socket, manual and quick guide card.
Noise Claim
DeerRun lists the motor as "Brushless Motor, Low Noise <45 db". DeerRun doesn't publish the measurement distance, speed, user weight, floor or equipment used, so the figure can't be checked or compared with other walking pads. The same wording appears on several DeerRun listings. We treat it strictly as a manufacturer claim and don't describe the Q2 Urban as quiet ourselves. See best quiet walking pads for how makers' noise claims compare.
Q2 Urban vs Q2 Urban With Handrail
| Q2 Urban | Q2 Urban With Handrail | |
|---|---|---|
| Handrail | None | Full-length, detachable; DeerRun does not state that it folds |
| Speed | 0.6–3.8 mph | 0.6–3.8 mph |

| Controls | Remote or PitPat app | Remote or PitPat app |
DeerRun sells the handrail model as a separate listing with the same published speed, incline, walking area and user limit. DeerRun describes a full-length detachable handrail but does not state that it folds. DeerRun's FAQ for the handrail version says: “Set the incline before starting your workout, then use the remote or app to control speed.” That instruction appears only on the handrail listing. Read our DeerRun Q2 Urban With Handrail review.
35.05 lb in DeerRun's current spec table for the handrail version; another section of the same page lists 35 lb. Both figures match the standard Q2 Urban, and DeerRun doesn't say whether they include the handrail.

The clearest difference is walking area: the Plus is 39.37 in long against 35.43 in on the standard Q2 Urban, at the same 14.96 in width. That makes the Plus 2.36 in longer overall and about 4.2 lb heavier (39.24 lb vs 35.05 lb in the spec tables). Both are listed with 7% manual incline. Source: DeerRun Q2 Urban Plus. Q2 Urban vs Z10 Pro
| Q2 Urban | Z10 Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Handrail | None | Folding handrail |
| Speed | 0.6–3.8 mph | 0.6–3.8 mph handrail down; 0.6–7.5 mph handrail up |
| Incline | 7% manual | 12% automatic, 12 levels |

| Machine weight | 35.05 lb (see notes) | 72.5 lb or 73.48 lb (see note) |
| Size | 42.62 × 19.69 × 3.94 in | 54.41 × 26.77 × 5.63 in or 52.17 × 25.51 × 5.2 in folded (see note) |
| Maximum user weight | 300 lb | 300 lb |
| Safety lock in the box | Not stated | Yes |
| App | PitPat | PitPat |
The Z10 Pro adds a folding handrail, 12% automatic incline and a 7.5 mph mode with the handrail raised, and it is much wider. DeerRun publishes two conflicting sets of Z10 Pro figures on the same product page: its 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area, 72.5 lb and 54.41 × 26.77 × 5.63 in folded, while its comparison table lists 43 × 16 in, 73.48 lb and 52.17 × 25.51 × 5.2 in folded. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence, so we show both. Source: DeerRun Z10 Pro. Read our DeerRun Z10 Pro review.
