The DeerRun Z10 Pro is a folding treadmill with a handrail that folds down, 12% automatic incline and a 300-lb maximum user weight. With the handrail down it runs at 0.6–3.8 mph; with the handrail up DeerRun lists 0.6–7.5 mph.

Walking Counts evaluated it using DeerRun's current published specifications. This is a research-based review and does not imply physical testing. For the rest of the range, see DeerRun walking pads compared.

Incline + Folding Handrail

DeerRun Z10 Pro: The Short Answer

The Z10 Pro's distinguishing mix is automatic incline up to 12%, a handrail that folds down for a low walking-pad setup, and a higher 7.5 mph top speed when the handrail is raised — with a 300-lb capacity.

The tradeoffs are size and weight: DeerRun lists it at 72.5 lb or 73.48 lb and 26.77 in or 25.51 in wide (its page gives conflicting figures — see the specifications notes), either way noticeably bigger than DeerRun's Q2 pads.

  • Speed: 0.6–3.8 mph (handrail down), 0.6–7.5 mph (handrail up)
  • Incline: 12% automatic, 12 levels
  • Max user weight: 300 lb · Machine weight: 72.5 lb or 73.48 lb (conflicting DeerRun figures)
  • Running belt: 41.34 × 15.75 in or 43 × 16 in (conflicting DeerRun figures)
  • Controls: remote or PitPat app

DeerRun Z10 vs Z10 Pro: What's the Difference?

DeerRun currently sells the Z10 and the Z10 Pro as separate products — the Pro hasn't replaced the Z10. The Z10 is a flat walking pad with no handrail; the Z10 Pro adds a folding handrail and a faster mode.

The Z10 figures below are for the standard Z10. DeerRun also sells a separate Z10 Upgrade Full-Screen with different dimensions and weight. We don't mix any Z10 figures into the Z10 Pro specifications below.

Notes: conflicting DeerRun figures

  • Walking area: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in.
  • Machine weight: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists the Z10 Pro at 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 73.48 lb.
  • Dimensions: DeerRun's 2027 spec block and feature information list 51.34 × 26.77 × 47.01 in open and 54.41 × 26.77 × 5.63 in folded, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 52.17 × 25.51 × 42.32 in open and 52.17 × 25.51 × 5.2 in folded.

DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current. The figures marked "(see notes)" on this page are from the 2027 spec block. The 2027 block also lists a larger folded length (54.41 in) than handrail-up length (51.34 in); we show both as published.

How the Z10 Pro Incline Works

DeerRun lists a 12% automatic incline with 12 levels, adjusted with the remote or over Bluetooth through the app. Because it's powered, you can change it mid-walk instead of stopping to adjust it by hand.

12% is a grade (12 units of rise per 100 of distance), not 12 degrees. DeerRun's level chart uses degree symbols for the levels, but its headline figure is a percentage, so we don't convert between them.

Compare other options in our best walking pads with incline.

Folding Handrail

The handrail folds down. DeerRun's current version describes wider, adjustable rotating handrails. The handrail position changes the speed range:

  • Handrail down: 0.6–3.8 mph
  • Handrail up: 0.6–7.5 mph

DeerRun doesn't list speed or incline buttons on the handrail; it lists the remote and app as the control methods. See more options in our best walking pads with handles guide.

Walking and Running Speeds

In the low setup (handrail down) the Z10 Pro is a walking pad at up to 3.8 mph. With the handrail up, DeerRun markets it for walking, jogging and running at up to 7.5 mph. If you need running speeds, that's the configuration to use.

Belt and Walking Area

DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence. Either figure is longer than the Z10 (about 35 in) and the Q2 Urban Plus (39.37 in). Because of the conflict we don't compare it closely with the UREVO Foldi 3S (42.5 × 16.5 in). Compare it with your own stride, especially if you plan to use the faster speeds.

Z10 Pro Weight Limit

DeerRun lists a 300-lb maximum user weight. That's the limit for the person on the belt, not a measure of quality or safety.

How Much Does the DeerRun Z10 Pro Weigh?

DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists the Z10 Pro at 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence. Either figure is roughly double the 35.05 lb in the Q2 Urban's spec table (35 lb elsewhere on its page; DeerRun doesn't confirm a separate weight for the handrail version), heavier than the standard Z10 (55 lb) and lighter than the UREVO Foldi 3S (87.5 lb). It has built-in wheels, but it's still heavy to lift.

Controls and Display

  • Remote control: included; controls speed and incline.
  • PitPat app: Bluetooth control.
  • Display: DeerRun lists dual screens — an LED display showing speed, time, distance and calories, plus a touchscreen.

A phone stand and a safety lock are listed in the box contents.

Does the DeerRun Z10 Pro Work With PitPat?

Yes. DeerRun's current Z10 Pro page lists "Support Sports PitPat APP", PitPat as its smart software and Bluetooth app control. DeerRun describes PitPat as enabling smart control, workout tracking and device syncing. The page also promotes PitPat features like virtual racing and training plans; those belong to the app, and we haven't confirmed how each works with the Z10 Pro.

Can You Use the Z10 Pro Under a Desk?

With the handrail folded, it's limited to 3.8 mph — a walking-pad setup. DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 5.63 in folded height and 26.77 in width; the comparison table on the same page lists 5.2 in and 25.51 in. DeerRun doesn't specifically market the Z10 Pro for under-desk use, and either width is wider than many walking pads.

We can't guarantee it fits under every desk. Measure your desk's height range (you'll stand about 5.6 in higher), the width between the legs and the floor space. See our best under-desk walking pads for slimmer options.

Folding and Storage

The handrail folds down for a low walking-pad setup. DeerRun's 2027 spec block and feature information list 51.34 × 26.77 × 47.01 in open and 54.41 × 26.77 × 5.63 in folded, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 52.17 × 25.51 × 42.32 in open and 52.17 × 25.51 × 5.2 in folded. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence. The deck itself doesn't fold. It has built-in wheels. DeerRun doesn't say it can be stored upright, so we don't recommend standing it on end.

The Z10 Pro adds powered incline, more incline, a folding handrail and a faster mode. The Q2 Urban With Handrail is simpler and lists far less weight, with 7% manual incline and walking speeds only. Its weight is 35.05 lb in DeerRun's spec table and 35 lb in another section of the same page. Neither is better for everyone. Source: DeerRun Q2 Urban With Handrail. Both combine a handle, automatic incline and faster speeds. The Z10 Pro lists more incline, a higher capacity and less weight (under either of DeerRun's figures); the Foldi 3S lists heart-rate sensors and a built-in workstation. Frequently Asked Questions

Is the DeerRun Z10 Pro worth considering?

It may suit you if you want automatic incline, a handrail that folds down and the option of faster speeds in one machine, within a 300-lb limit. If you mainly want a light, simple pad for slow desk walking, a smaller model may fit better.

Is the DeerRun Z10 the same as the Z10 Pro?

No. DeerRun sells them as separate products. Both list 12% automatic incline and a 300-lb capacity, but the Z10 Pro adds a folding handrail, reaches 7.5 mph with the handrail up, has a longer belt and is heavier. The Z10 tops out at 3.8 mph and lists no handrail.

What is the DeerRun Z10 Pro speed?

0.6–3.8 mph with the handrail folded down and 0.6–7.5 mph with the handrail up, according to DeerRun.

Can you run on the DeerRun Z10 Pro?

DeerRun markets it for walking, jogging and running with the handrail up, up to 7.5 mph. With the handrail down it's limited to 3.8 mph.

What incline does the DeerRun Z10 Pro have?

Up to 12%, in 12 levels. DeerRun's level chart uses degree symbols, but its headline figure is 12% — we use the percentage and don't convert it.

Is the Z10 Pro incline automatic?

Yes. DeerRun lists 12% automatic incline, controlled by the remote or over Bluetooth.

Does the DeerRun Z10 Pro have a handle?

Yes — a handrail. DeerRun describes the current version's handrails as wider and adjustable/rotating.

Does the Z10 Pro handrail fold?

Yes. DeerRun lists separate folded (handrail down) and unfolded (handrail up) dimensions and speed ranges.

What is the DeerRun Z10 Pro weight limit?

300 lb maximum user weight.

How much does the Z10 Pro weigh?

DeerRun publishes two figures. DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists the Z10 Pro at 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.

Does the DeerRun Z10 Pro work with PitPat?

Yes. DeerRun's current Z10 Pro page lists the PitPat app and Bluetooth control. We describe only the functions DeerRun lists.

Can the Z10 Pro go under a desk?

With the handrail folded, DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists 5.63 in tall (the page's comparison table lists 5.2 in), and it's limited to 3.8 mph. DeerRun doesn't specifically market it for under-desk use, and it's listed at 26.77 in or 25.51 in wide depending on the section, wider than many walking pads, so measure your desk clearance and floor space first.

Does the Z10 Pro have a safety key?

DeerRun lists a safety lock in the box contents.

Does the Z10 Pro arrive assembled?

DeerRun says no assembly is required and it's ready to use out of the box.

DeerRun Z10 Pro vs Q2 Urban: what's the difference?

The Z10 Pro has automatic 12% incline, a folding handrail and speeds up to 7.5 mph, but DeerRun lists it at 72.5 lb or 73.48 lb depending on the section of its page. The Q2 Urban With Handrail lists 7% manual incline, tops out at 3.8 mph and shows 35.05 lb in its spec table (35 lb elsewhere on the page), though DeerRun doesn't confirm that includes the handrail.
