DeerRun Flex Fold 1 Review
Last updated: October 2026
The DeerRun Flex Fold 1 is a fold-in-half treadmill with a handrail, not a walking pad. DeerRun positions it for walking and light jogging, and lists a 0.6–7.5 mph speed range, a 15.4 × 39.4 in running belt, a 300 lb / 136 kg maximum user weight and PitPat support. DeerRun lists "No Incline."
This review is based on DeerRun's published manufacturer information. We have not physically tested the Flex Fold 1.

Quick Verdict
On DeerRun's published figures, the Flex Fold 1 is aimed at walking, light jogging and compact storage: it folds in half to 33.51 × 26.58 × 6.81 in, reaches 7.5 mph, lists a 300 lb / 136 kg user limit and a 15.4 × 39.4 in belt. It has no incline.
The gaps are in the published information: DeerRun doesn't list the machine weight or a noise figure, and the display, remote and Safety Lock aren't confirmed.

From DeerRun's US Flex Fold 1 information. DeerRun's European material lists about 1–12 km/h, 136 kg, 3.0 PS, 85.1 × 67.5 × 17.3 cm folded and 128 × 66.5 × 112.3 cm open, which broadly align with the US figures after conversion. "Not listed" or "Not confirmed" means it isn't in the information we used; we don't fill gaps with figures from other DeerRun models.

Missing figures are limitations of the published information, not product defects.
What Is the DeerRun Flex Fold 1?
A fold-in-half treadmill with a handrail, which DeerRun's dedicated product page positions for walking and light jogging. One broader DeerRun promotional page uses more expansive running language; we follow the dedicated product page. It is a different product from the Flex Rise 1 and the Sleek Fold 1 walking pad. See all DeerRun models.
Fold-in-Half Design
DeerRun calls the Flex Fold 1 a "Fold-in-Half Treadmill" and also describes it as fold-flat. The Flex Fold 1 uses a fold-in-half design that reduces its published stored length from 50.4 inches to 33.51 inches. That's a reduction of about 16.89 inches, or roughly 33.5%, based on DeerRun's published dimensions.
Extended Dimensions
DeerRun lists an extended size of 50.4 × 26.18 × 44.21 in. Measure your space, including room around the machine, before buying.
Folded Dimensions
DeerRun lists a folded size of 33.51 × 26.58 × 6.81 in.
Storage
Plan storage around the published folded dimensions (33.51 × 26.58 × 6.81 in). DeerRun doesn't state approved storage methods in the information we reviewed, so we don't claim it fits under a bed or sofa, stores upright or fits a closet — check the clearance in your own space. Compare other designs in our best foldable walking pads and best walking pads for small spaces guides.
Running Belt
DeerRun lists the running belt as 15.4 × 39.4 in, so the belt is 39.4 inches long. We don't estimate usable space beyond this, and DeerRun publishes no user-height guidance.
0.6–7.5 MPH Speed
DeerRun lists a 0.6–7.5 mph speed range and positions the Flex Fold 1 for walking and light jogging.
Incline
Incline: None — DeerRun lists "No Incline." If incline matters to you, see our best walking pads with incline guide.
Maximum User Weight
DeerRun lists 300 lb / 136 kg. See our walking pads with 300 lb+ capacity guide for other models with a published limit of 300 lb or more.
Motor
DeerRun lists the Flex Fold 1 at 3.0 HP and describes this figure as ‘Rated Marketing Power.’ DeerRun doesn't provide a continuous-duty rating in the information we reviewed.
DeerRun doesn't list the motor type, so we don't describe it as brushless or commercial-grade.
Machine Weight — Not Listed
DeerRun doesn't list the Flex Fold 1's machine weight in the information we reviewed, and we don't estimate it.
Handrail
DeerRun lists a handrail. The information we reviewed doesn't describe how the handrail itself works, so we don't say whether it's fixed, foldable, detachable or adjustable. See our walking pads with handles guide for other designs.
Controls
DeerRun lists PitPat app support. A remote control and display are not confirmed in the information we reviewed, so we don't describe how the treadmill is controlled beyond that.
Display — Not Confirmed
Display details aren't confirmed in the information we reviewed, so we don't describe one or call it a touchscreen.
PitPat App
The Flex Fold 1 is PitPat-compatible. DeerRun and PitPat promote workout tracking, AI-driven training, live virtual racing, 3D environments, challenges, rewards, cash or points, Anti-Cheat technology, gamification and Apple Health or third-party syncing. These are DeerRun's and PitPat's promotional claims; Walking Counts hasn't evaluated them, and we make no claims about earnings from reward features.
Noise
Noise specification: Not listed. DeerRun doesn't publish a numerical noise figure for the Flex Fold 1, and we don't borrow figures from other DeerRun models. Any general low-noise wording in DeerRun's marketing is DeerRun's own, not measured performance.
Safety Information
A Safety Lock or safety key is not listed in the research supplied for this review, and we don't infer safety features from other DeerRun models. Follow DeerRun's manual for safe use.
What's in the Box
DeerRun lists:
- Main product
- 5.9 ft power cord
- Oil
- L-type 6 mm hex socket
- Two cylindrical bolts
- Manual
- Quick & Easy Guide card

The Flex Fold 1 prioritizes a fold-in-half design and a shorter stored length (33.51 vs 53.35 in), while the Flex Rise 1 publishes a higher top speed, automatic incline and a longer belt. Read our DeerRun Flex Rise 1 review.
DeerRun's current US Flex Rise 1 page lists a 350 lb maximum user weight, while an earlier version of the same page listed 400 lb and DeerRun's European page lists 181 kg (about 399 lb). DeerRun doesn't explain the discrepancy, so we don't treat either figure as definitive.

Both publish a top speed of 7.5 mph, although the A6 Plus reaches that speed with its handrail raised. Both also list a handrail, a 300 lb limit and PitPat. The A6 Plus lists a 5% manual incline; the Flex Fold 1 has no incline and folds in half. Read our DeerRun A6 Plus review.
DeerRun's regional pages publish conflicting A6 Plus figures: the US page lists 54.54 lb and 53.27 × 21.77 × 45.79 in, while DeerRun UK lists 28.94 kg (about 63.8 lb), a handrail-up size of about 49.4 × 21.8 × 45.8 in and a folded size of about 53.3 × 21.8 × 4.9 in. We show both rather than choosing one.
Flex Fold 1 vs DeerRun Z10 Pro

| Speed | 0.6–7.5 mph | 0.6–3.8 mph handrail down; up to 7.5 mph handrail up |
| Incline | None — DeerRun lists “No Incline” | 12% automatic, 12 levels |

“(see notes)” on the DeerRun Z10 Pro: DeerRun's 2027 spec block lists a 41.34 × 15.75 in walking area and 72.5 lb, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 43 × 16 in and 73.48 lb. DeerRun doesn't explain which should take precedence.
DeerRun's 2027 spec block and feature information list 51.34 × 26.77 × 47.01 in open and 54.41 × 26.77 × 5.63 in folded, while the comparison table on the same product page lists 52.17 × 25.51 × 42.32 in open and 52.17 × 25.51 × 5.2 in folded.
DeerRun publishes both sets of figures on the same Z10 Pro product page and doesn't explain which should take precedence. One section is headed “2027 DeerRun Z10 Pro – Redesigned for More Confident Movement”, while another part of the page uses “2025 New Grade” wording; that doesn't tell us which figures are current.
Other DeerRun options include the Z20 and the full-size X20.
Walking and Light-Jogging Use
DeerRun's dedicated product page positions the Flex Fold 1 for walking and light jogging, within its 0.6–7.5 mph range. We don't present it as a running treadmill or suggest paces for any individual. For the general differences, see walking pad vs treadmill.

Manufacturer Claims We Don't Repeat as Established Facts
We don't repeat these as fact: broad quietness claims, PitPat AI training, rewards, cash or points and Anti-Cheat technology, calorie or fat-burning claims, and broad fitness-transformation claims. These are manufacturer and platform marketing claims, not things Walking Counts has independently tested.
How We Evaluated It
We compiled this review from DeerRun's published Flex Fold 1 information and compared it with figures already on Walking Counts. We have not physically tested the Flex Fold 1 and haven't independently verified DeerRun's specifications. Read more about how we review products.
